A Madison County woman is suing a Litchfield man and his employer after she was hurt in a car crash.
Betsey Becker filed a lawsuit against Christopher Travis and Ervin Cable Construction LLC Sept. 1 in Madison County Circuit Court.
According to the lawsuit, Becker was driving her car on Route 66 in Montgomery County in October 2009 when a truck driven by Travis allegedly crossed the center line and crashed into her. Becker says the crash injured her elbow, clavicle, ankle and foot. She says she also suffered a concussion.
The complaint claims Travis was working for Ervin Cable Construction at the time of the incident.
Becker is asking for $50,000 from each defendant for pain and suffering, medical costs and loss of wages.
