Legal misrepresentation case against St. Louis law firm set for case management

A case against a law firm that allegedly botched a workers' compensation claim is set for case management on Wednesday.

Plaintiff Ronald Dahl Jr. is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 for his claims of legal misrepresentation against attorney Christopher Kuehnlein and the law firm of Kuehnlein & Kuehnlein.

Dahl Jr. claims that the defendants failed to combine two related worker's compensation claims when they represented Dahl Jr.

The plaintiff alleges that the older of the two cases, brought against Sears, resulted in a $3,000 settlement.

According to his complaint, Dahl Jr. lost out on additional settlement proceeds when the defendants failed to combine the two workers' compensation cases and when they urged him to accept the Sears settlement.

The defendants deny the claims.

The case management conference is set for 9 a.m.

Madison County Circuit Judge Andreas Matoesian presides.

Dahl Jr. is represented by Michael Brunton.

The law firm and Christopher Kuehnlein are represented by Robert Wuller.

The case is Madison case number 08-L-374.
