A case stemming from a motorcycle accident that was set for trial Monday has settled.
Plaintiff Jacqueline Dresch settled her suit against Lyle Polus earlier this month.
Defendant Schnuck Markets Inc. had been dismissed from the case without prejudice earlier.
Dresch sued Polus for injuries including four skull fractures she alleged were caused when Polus made a left turn on North Main Street in Edwardsville, hitting her 2000 Harley motorcycle in September 2008.
Dresch alleged that Polus was driving under the influence of alcohol, failed to look out and failed to control his 1986 Chevrolet Blazer when he hit her.
Dresch sued Schnucks for allegedly selling the alcohol that Polus later drank.
Her suit sought damages in excess of $50,000 and costs per each count of the suit.
Terms of the suit were not disclosed. Each party is to bear their own costs.
Dresch is represented by Michael Glisson of Alton.
Polus is represented by Kevin Babb of Edwardsville.
Madison County Circuit Judge Andy Mateosian is presiding.
The case is Madison case number 09-L-080.
