Citifinancial Services claims a woman owes it more than $60,000 after she executed a disclosure statement.
Citifinancial claims Kathleen M. Richter executed a disclosure statement, note and security agreement on Jan. 9, 2006.
Since then, however, Richter has defaulted on the note, according to the complaint filed March 11 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
"As of March 8, 2010, there is due and owing the Plaintiff the sum of $61,371.43 principal and interest under the terms of said Disclosure Statement, Note, and Security Agreement," the suit states.
In addition to the money it says it is owed, Citifinancial is seeking interest, $900 in attorney's fees and costs.
It will be represented by J. Gregory Scott of Heavner, Scott, Beyers and Mihlar in Decatur.
St. Clair County Circuit Court case number: 10-L-117.
