A Madison County jury has ruled in favor of Ford Motor Co. in an asbestos trial that ended Friday.
Plaintiffs Larry and Meta Williams of Chicago had sued multiple corporations in 2009, alleging that he developed mesothelioma after working with brake products and the resulting dust that contained asbestos.
Attorneys for the Williamses included Jonathan Ruckdeschel of Ellicott City, Md. and by T. Barton French, Shelby Reed, and Nathaniel Mudd of French & Mudd P.C. of St. Louis.
Ford, the only defendant on trial, was represented by lead counsel Manuel Sanchez of Sanchez, Daniels & Hoffman LLP of Chicago, Darrell Grams of Texas and Eric Bergstrom of California.
