A woman filed suit against the driver of a vehicle in which she rode as a passenger, saying the driver failed to avoid getting rear-ended.
Jaclyn Allison filed a lawsuit Dec. 10 in Madison County Circuit Court against Jamie L. Myers and Anthony JJ Holland.
Allison claims she rode as a passenger in a 2005 Dodge Caravan Myers drove on May 13, 2008, at about 11 a.m.
Suddenly, Holland, who drove a Chevrolet Cavalier behind Myers, rear-ended Myers, according to the complaint.
Because of the accident, Allison suffered pain and emotional distress and incurred medical bills, the suit states.
She blames Myers for failing to avoid a rear-end collision and Holland for colliding with Myers.
In the two-count suit, Allison seeks a judgment of more than $100,000, plus other relief the court deems just.
Brian L. Polinske of Polinske and Associates in Edwardsville will be representing her.
