A company claims it was not paid more than $100,000 for supplies it delivered to a Minnesota corporation.
Cope Plastics filed a complaint Dec. 10 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Exactec.
Cope Plastics claims it agreed to deliver supplies and inventory to Exactec in exchange for payment. However, Exactec has failed to pay for the supplies from July 2008 through November 2008, according to the complaint.
"The invoices for these shipments totaled $129,621.24 as of November 9, 2009," the suit states.
On Nov. 9, Cope Plastics demanded Exactec pay the money, but Exactec has failed and refused to make the payments, the complaint says.
In addition to the money it says it is due, Cope Plastics seeks interest at five percent per annum and other relief the court deems just.
Larry E. Parres and Alfred J. Ludwig of Lewis, Rice and Fingersh in St. Louis will be representing it.
Madison County Circuit Court case number: 09-L-1328.
