Premier Bank files foreign judgment to collect $5 million

A bank says a trust fund has refused to pay it more than $5 million owed after a St. Louis County judge found in favor of the bank.

Premier Bank filed a petition to enroll foreign judgment in Madison County Circuit Court on Dec. 2.

The bank claims the Charles F. Stone Revocable Trust owes it $5,099,039.27 after St. Louis County Circuit Court entered a judgment in the bank's favor on Nov. 12.

"The Judgment Debtor in the aforementioned Foreign Judgment has failed to satisfy the Foreign Judgment, in whole or in part, and the Foreign Judgment remains, in effect, outstanding and unmodified in the office of the court," the petition states.

Larry E. Parres and John J. Hall of Lewis, Rice and Fingersh in St. Louis will be representing the bank.

Madison County Circuit Court case number: 09-L-1299.
