Lender seeks repayment on home equity line

An Illinois financial services company claims a man has stopped making payments on his home equity line of credit.

American General Financial Services of Illinois filed a lawsuit Oct. 26 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Theodore Fuller.

American General claims Fuller has stopped making monthly payments on his home equity line of credit and still owes the company $59,168.29.

Although American General has demanded payment from Fuller, he has yet to reimburse it, the suit states.

In addition to the money it says it is owed, American General is seeking interest, attorneys' fees, costs and other relief the court deems just.

Duane C. Clarke of Clarke Law Office in Highland will be representing it.

St. Clair County Circuit Court case number: 09-L-574.
