Alton, Godfrey and Wood River Republicans will hold a fund-raiser from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25 at the Rolling Hills Golf Course in Godfrey.
Congressman John Shimkus (R-19) will be the featured speaker.
State Sens. Bill Brady and Kirk Dillard, who are vying for governor in the Illinois Republican primary, will also be on hand.
Tickets are $25 per person. Light refreshments will be served.
Admission will be free for anyone who brings a precinct committeeman petition filled with at least 10 signatures from that precinct.
Dr. Edward Ragsdale, who is organizing the event, said "Tea Party" participants and organizers who attend will be recognized.
