The attorney for a plaintiff in a seven year-old negligence suit has asked to withdraw from the suit, according to a motion filed May 29.
Madison County Circuit Judge Barbara Crowder is scheduled to hear motion in the case as part of the morning motion docket Friday.
Michael Brunton, who has been representing plaintiff Sandra Moss, asked the court to allow him to withdraw as Moss's attorney of record.
Moss is suing defendants Effie Barnes and Derrick Shaw.
Barnes is represented by Jon Shelton. Shaw is representing himself.
The motion docket begins at 9 a.m. Friday.
The case is Madison case number 02-L-687.
