A Norfolk Southern Railway Company employee has filed suit against the railroad, alleging he was injured because of his work for the company.

In addition to his injuries, Ringe suffered mental anguish, lost wages, incurred medical costs and experienced pain and suffering, the suit states.
He also claims his ability to work, labor and enjoy the normal pursuits of life has been impaired.
Named as co-defendants in the complaint are Consolidated Rail Corporation and American Premier Underwriters.
Ringe is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000, plus costs.
He is represented by Ryan M. Furniss and Eric D. Holland of Holland, Groves and Schneller in St. Louis.
