Transport company seeks reimbursement from Illinois farm

A transportation company is seeking reimbursement for transportation services it claims to have performed for an Illinois farm.

Redline Transportation alleges it arranged for numerous trucking companies to transport loads to and from Meadowbrook Farms between Dec. 4 and Jan. 30.

However, Meadowbrook Farms has failed to pay Redline the invoice amounts for services, according to the complaint filed March 9 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.

The complaint does not indicate the farm's location, however Meadowbrook Farms is being served with the lawsuit at a Belleville address.

"Defendant has failed to pay Plaintiff, pursuant to the agreement, the amount of $129,943.01 which remains due and is justly owed to the Plaintiff," the suit states.

In addition to the balance it is owed, Redline is seeking costs and other relief the court deems just.

David C. Berwin of Amelung, Wulff and Willenbrock and Pankowski in St. Louis will be representing it.

St. Clair County Circuit Court case number: 09-L-0124.
