Centreville Avenue accident is subject of suit

Tracey Brown is suing Milinda Hubbard in St. Clair County Circuit Court claiming injuries from an accident that occurred Oct. 12, 2007 on Centreville Avenue near Highway 13 in St. Clair County.

Brown claims Hubbard, who was southbound on Centreville, rear-ended her.

According to the complaint filed March 2 in St. Clair County Circuit Court, Hubbard was negligent for driving too fast, failing to reduce her speed, failing to keep a proper lookout and failing to keep her vehicle under control.

Brown claims she suffered neck, head, back and body injuries. She claims she suffered great pain and mental anguish, she claims she lost large sums of money due to her inability to pursue her normal gainful occupation. She also claims hospital and medical treatments.

Brown is seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages, plus costs.

She is represented by Gregory Shevlin of Cook, Ysursa, Bartholomew, Brauer and Shevlin of Belleville.
