Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard, P.C. shareholders Thomas E. Berry, Jr., and Philip J. Lading have been appointed to the Illinois Chamber of Commerce's Employment Law Council.
In connection with their position as Employment Law Council members, Berry and Lading will work with employers throughout Illinois to provide advice and direction to the Illinois Chamber regarding effective representation of Illinois employers on all aspects of the employer/employee relationship, towards the goal of creating a political climate conducive to improving Illinois' ability to create and retain jobs.
Employment Council members work collectively to address workers compensation, unemployment insurance, and other management/personnel related issues and achieve a consensus on what public policy issues the Illinois Chamber of Commerce should pursue in order to best advance the interests and viewpoints of Illinois employers.
