A Belleville woman has filed suit against a Shiloh woman, claiming she was severely injured after a rear-end collision.

Lisa A. Bell was driving south on West Boulevard near the intersection of Carlyle Avenue in Belleville on Nov. 8, 2006, and was stopped at a red light, according to the complaint filed Oct. 8 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.

Marlene K. Mueller was driving behind Bell and hit the rear of Bell's vehicle when she stopped at the light, the suit states.

Bell claims she incurred substantial medical costs, lost wages and suffered pain and loss of a normal life as a result of the accident.

Bell is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000, plus costs.
