Hamel Co-Op sues over unpaid bill

Hamel Co-Op Grain Company has filed a breach of contract suit against a Worden man, alleging he failed to pay amounts due under the terms of the contract.

Represented by Paul Lauber of Edwardsville, Hamel Co-Op alleges they sold and delivered goods to Terry Ridenbark after he agreed to pay for them.

According to the complaint filed Oct. 22, Ridenbark is indebted to Hamel Co-Op for $11,966.20.

In addition to the amount due, Hamel Co-Op is seeking a judgment for costs of the suit and a one percent finance charge.

The case is awaiting mandatory arbitration.
