A Granite City gas station is being sued for failing to pay for its gas supply.
Jasper Petroleum Maintenance filed the breach of contract suit against Gitcho's Gas & Cars in Madison County Circuit Court Oct. 6, alleging goods were delivered but not paid for as promised.
Gitcho's is located at 3300 Nameoki Road in Granite City.
Jasper Petroleum claims Gitcho's has a balance of $33,253.03 and payment for the balance has been refused even though Gitcho's accepted the goods delivered.
Represented by Gary Underwood of the Underwood Law Firm in St. Louis, Jasper is seeking a judgment in their favor the outstanding balance, 9 percent interest per annum from Oct. 14, 2005 and costs of the suit.
The case is awaiting mandatory arbitration.
