Food service company sues debtors

Robert's Sysco Food Services is suing A.R.C. of Jacksonville, LTD, Skyview Terrace, LTD, Springfield Terrace, LTD, Litchfield Terrace, LTD, Vandalia Terrace, LTD, and Melvin Sigel for more than $150,000 it claims the companies owe.

Sysco claims the defendants ordered products from the company, according to a lawsuit filed in Madison County Circuit Court Aug. 21.

Sysco claims the defendants did not pay for the products, and has heard the assets of all the defendants will be sold Aug. 22, the suit claims.

"All funds will be disbursed and distributed beyond the reach of the creditor or the courts of Illinois," the suit says. "Enterprises have failed to notify Sysco of the details of any proposed sale despite contractual obligation to do so."

Sysco is seeking $18,279.28 from A.R.C. of Jacksonville, LTD; $25,367.47 from Skyview Terrace, LTD; $18,882.68 from Springfield Terrace, LTD, $62,529.43 from Melvin Sigel, $21,142.05 from Litchfield Terrace, LTD; $11,100.69 from Vandalia Terrace, LTD; $32,242.74 from Melvin Sigel, and any other relief the court deems appropriate.

Sysco is represented by Lawrence O. Taliana of Taliana, Buckley, Asa & Reames in Edwardsville.
