Jaclyn Allison claims Ernest A. Cates failed to yield the right-of-way in an auto accident lawsuit filed in Madison County Circuit Court.
According to the complaint filed Aug. 13, Allison was westbound on 4th Street in Highland at the intersection of Laurel Street when Cates, southbound on Laurel, allegedly struck her vehicle.
Allison claims injuries to her head, back and jaw. She is seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages.
Among other things, she claims she has incurred lost wages and an impairment of future earnings.
She is represented by John Hustava of Collinsville.
