Claimant seeks in excess of $50k in Edwardsville accident

Ronald L. Gladdue claims a vehicle driven by Phillip W. South rear-ended his automobile, in a lawsuit filed Aug. 12 in Madison County Circuit Court.

On May 8, 2007, Gladdue was driving southbound on Troy Road in Edwardsville when his vehicle was allegedly struck from behind by South's vehicle.

According to the complaint, Gladdue claims South was negligent for failing to keep a proper lookout, among other tings.

He is seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages for unspecified injuries.

He is represented by Eugene C. Menges of the Menges Law Firm in Belleville.
