Woman claims injuries in rear-end collision on ramp to Poplar Street Bridge

Natasha Laktzian is suing Brenda Hardy over a rear-end collision that occurred on the I-44 entrance ramp to the Poplar Street Bridge last year.

Laktzian claims that Hardy followed her more closely than was reasonable as the two vehicles traveled eastbound, according to a complaint filed Aug. 6 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.

The plaintiff and defendant reside in St. Clair County, the complaint states.

Laktzian claims she has suffered neck, shoulder and low back injuries. She also claims medical expenses, lost wages and pain and suffering.

Laktzian, represented by Thomas C. Rich and Jennifer L. Barbieri of Fairview Heights, is seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages.
