Ashland Inc. filed a breach of contract suit against Oil Change Service LLC d/b/a Express Care in Madison County Circuit Court Jan. 10.
Represented by Mark Brueggemann of Collinsville, Ashland alleges Express Care executed a written agreement with them in which Ashland agreed to provide merchandise, services, signage and advertising to Express Care.
Ashland alleges Express Care defaulted and now owes $124,958.60, plus interest and attorney fees as a result of its failure to pay for the items provided contractually.
"That despite demand, Defendant still refuses to pay Plaintiff the sums due and owing to plaintiff," the complaint alleges.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Barb Crowder.
