Edward Jones Dome blamed for 'bunched up' carpet in personal injury suit

Edward Jones Dome

A woman who was injured at the Edward Jones Dome when she fell on carpet that was "bunched up" filed a personal injury suit in Madison County Circuit Court Nov. 13.

In her suit against the Edward Jones Dome and Charter Communications, Andria Hancock claims she has sustained damages in excess of $100,000.

According to the suit, Hancock attended an event at the dome on Jan. 7.

She claims the defendants negligently and carelessly failed to provide proper lighting, failed to give warning of the bunched up carpets and other hazards on the floor and failed to properly lay the carpet to avoid it from bunching.

Represented by Lance Mallon of Wood River, Hancock claims she suffered injuries to both knees that caused and will continue to cause pain and suffering, medical expenses, loss of wages, disability and diminution of her earning capacity.
