Suit claims driver was intoxicated

Tina Pratt of Dupo is suing Crystal Noethen over a St. Clair County auto accident earlier this year in which Pratt sustained serious injuries.

According to a lawsuit filed Oct. 19 in St. Clair County Circuit Court, Pratt claims Noethen was intoxicated Jan. 3 when she crossed the center line of McBride Avenue near its intersection with Stolle Road. Pratt was eastbound and Noethen (also known as Crystal Kemp) was westbound.

The suit also names The Club at Falling Springs in East Carondelet and its owner Dennis Pulcher as defendants.

Pratt claims the tavern sold intoxicating liquors to Noethen.

Represented by Robert G. Jones of Brown & Crouppen in St. Louis, Pratt is seeking in excess of $150,000 in damages. She claims she suffered injuries to her back and entire nervous system, among other things.

Pratt also claims she incurred medical expenses.
