The next meeting of People in Business will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 23 at GC Cuisine in Edwardsville.
Jerry Rombach, executive director of the Homebuilder's Association of Greater Southwest Illinois, will be the special guest speaker for the meeting.
He has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry in historic preservation, commercial and residential real estate management, government affairs and management of public housing.
He currently serves on the Southwest Illinois Council of Mayors, East West Gateway Council of Government, Fannie Mae St Louis Partnership, and FOCUS St. Louis. His topic will focus on the
current forecast, statistics, and events in the metro-east real estate market.
Diann Robins, a coordinator for People in Business and a representative for Nu-Skin International, will speak about the advantages of multi-level marketing.
Robins has extensive experience in various MLM industries as well as a substantial understanding of the many options available to people who wish to participate in, or form multi-level companies.
A Granite City meeting of People in Business will be held at The Garden Gate Tea Room at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 24.
The topic will focus on strategic planning for 2008.
Local businesses from Granite City are invited to attend the meeting. Suggestions from all attendees will be used to formulate and design a plan to invite innovative and informative speakers to the group in 2008.
Business people who are interested in addressing the group are encouraged to attend.
The People in Business networking group invites men and women of the business community to their upcoming meetings. Visitors are encouraged to attend at all locations.
Meetings are held once per month in O'Fallon, Alton, Collinsville, Edwardsville, and Granite City.
All meetings are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
