A St. Clair County plaintiff is seeking in excess of $100,000 from State Farm Insurance alleging a theft claim involving his 2003 Dodge Stratus has gone unpaid.
According to a suit filed July 31, DeMorrio Loveless claims he gave due notice to his insurer immediately after the vehicle was stolen March 28, 2006, yet State Farm has "failed and refused" to pay the sum of money due under the terms of his policy.
"Defendant breached its contract with Plaintiff by not paying to Plaintiff the value of the aforementioned stolen vehicle, and by denying Plaintiff's claim without good cause or proper investigation," the complaint states.
Loveless is represented by Christopher Kolker of Belleville.
