The Community Association for Financial Education (CAFE) is a non-profit educational mission based organization that is working with middle income families on getting financially healthy. Over 95 percent of families do not know key financial principals or have a written roadmap so they will succeed financially.
For a low $99 fee, which includes all the adults and teens in a household, CAFE offers a 2 1/2 hour kick-off that teaches 136 key financial topics including how to get out of debt, invest, save and make good buying decision. Then a CAFE volunteer will work with families or individuals one on one to develop a personal, confidential written financial life plan. All is done in a non-product, unbiased environment.
CAFE is an eleven-year-old organization that has worked with thousands of Illinois and Missouri families making an average positive impact of $100,000 in their finacial life. CAFE also works with churches and businesses to get their people on track. For more information, call Dana Klassen at 618-978-7682.
