Granite City attorney Morris Chapman dies

Veteran Granite City plaintiff's attorney Morris B. Chapman, 87, died Sunday, Feb. 18.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Irwin Chapel in Glen Carbon. His funeral is at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 23, at the funeral home.

His daughter, Melissa Chapman, is an Illinois appellate court justice.

Chapman, who practiced law for more than 60 years, was the president of the Madison County Bar Association in 1957.
