Dick Erdmann's civic involvement includes the Fairview Heights Chamber of Commerce (President, 1997), Fairview Heights Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs (President of each and district offices), Boy Scouts Friends of Scouting, Salvation Army, American Cancer Society (Fairview Heights Board), and St. Paul Church (President, 2002). His awards include the Fairview Heights Chamber Community Impact Award, SIUE/Belleville News-Democrat Kimmel Community Service Award, and Illinois Chamber of Commerce Illinois Reaches Out Award. In 1977, he was honorably discharged as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve. Dick operates Erdmann Law Office, which is a one-lawyer law firm serving businesses and individual clients in the Fairview Heights area since 1984.
