Raging Rivers patron sues for tripping on concrete

A woman who injured her ankle at Raging Rivers in Grafton filed a personal injury suit against the popular water park claiming it was negligent and careless.

According to the suit filed Dec. 6 in Madison County Circuit Court, Pamela Rawlings claims that on June 23, she sustained her injury after tripping on a damaged concrete curb.

Rawlings claims Raging Rivers negligently failed to repair the curb and failed to warn her that the curb was damaged.

She claims her ankle injury caused pain and suffering, medical expenses, loss of wages and disability.

Represented by Lance Mallon of Wood River, Rawlings is seeking damages in excess of $50,000, plus all costs of the suit.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Dan Stack.
