St. Clair County resident Pamela Hanson is seeking in excess of $50,000 from Schnuck's Markets for injuries she sustained after falling on a liquid substance in a store aisle.
Hanson claims the store, located at 5720 North Belt West in Belleville, is negligent for failing to maintain its premises in a reasonably safe condition.
Represented by J. Michael Weilmuenster of Weilmuenster & Wigginton in Belleville, Hanson claims injuries to various parts of her body, including her neck, back, knees and legs.
She claims physical and mental pain and suffering, disability, loss of normal life, disfigurement, medical expenses, lost wages and an increased risk of future injuries.
The incident took place Feb. 15, 2006, according to the suit filed Oct. 10 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
