A woman who fell down while leaving a Belleville tavern at 2 a.m. filed a personal injury suit in St. Clair County Circuit Court July 10, seeking damages in excess of $50,000.
Christine Solomon claims she was leaving TR's Place on Concordia Road on July 20, 2004, when she violently fell to the ground while exiting the building.
According to Solomon, TR'S maintained its exit without adequate lighting and failed to provide a warning to patrons as to the unsafe or hazardous condition of the exit.
Solomon claims she was greatly injured both internally and externally, suffered great physical pain and mental anguish, became liable for medical expenses, lost wages and has been prevented from attending to her usual activities.
She is represented by Philip Rice of Belleville.
