A Tennessee doctor was sued in St. Clair County Circuit Court July 3 by HPSC, Inc. which alleges the physician has failed to pay bills for medical equipment.
Steven Kotner, M.D. is accused of failing to make 60 monthly payments of $2,756.68 each to Boston-based HPSC, according to court documents.
HPSC claims that despite the demand for payment, Kotner has refused to pay the amount due.
Since Kotner is in default, HPSC is seeking the total amount due and interest totaling $108,983.98, plus attorney fees.
HPSC is represented by Mark Brueggemann of Collinsville.
