Madison County Circuit Judge Don Weber has stricken suspended attorney Thomas Hildebrand from a case in which Hildebrand sought to remove Weber.
Hildebrand moved Weber Feb. 24 for substitution without cause in a lawsuit that Jerry Heubschmann filed against Jessica Blair in 1996.
Weber did not allow substitution. He set a hearing on the motion for March 24.
On March 20, the Illinois Supreme Court suspended Hildebrand indefinitely for repeated conflicts of interest and deceptions.
Weber, at his March 24 hearing, struck Hildebrand from the record and gave Heubschmann 21 days to retain counsel.
Weber set a hearing on all pending motions May 26.
