Tamara Vallow filed a personal injury suit against McDonald's in Madison County Circuit Court claiming she injured herself when she tripped on a wet floor.
According to the complaint filed March 16, McDonald's failed to adequately train employees regarding safety practices and failed to warn the customers that there was water on the floor.
The complaint does not state at which restaurant the Jan. 13 accident took place.
Vallow claims she sustained severe injuries, medical expenses, pain and suffering and will suffer additional damages in the future.
Represented by James Gorman of Edwardsville, Vallow is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Andy Matoesian.
