Robert Ewing, by and through his mother and guardian, Helen Gray v. Alton Memorial Hospital et.al.

  • Gray claims her son sustained severe and irreparable brain damage on March 10, 2005, because the hospital failed to perform diagnostic tests which would have shown his head injury upon his initial admission. Gray is seeking damages in excess of $150,000.

  • Tonkinson claims she sustained injuries after slipping on ice that collected on a barge in Hartford on Jan. 6, 2004. Tonkinson is seeking at least $50,000 in damages under the Longshoreman's Act.

  • Figge, who holds power of attorney for Armstrong, claims Rosewood Care Center was negligent for not notifying Armstrong's physician after she fell sustaining vertebral fractures on Nov. 26, 2004. The two-count suit seeks to recover at least $100,000 in damages.
