A St. Clair County man is suing to recover money he loaned another local man.
According to a lawsuit filed on April 28 in St. Clair County Circuit Court, St. Clair Service Co. filed a complaint against Wilbur H. Schiefer Jr., who also goes by Rusty Schiefer.
On July 29, 2014, the two parties allegedly entered into an agreement whereby the defendant agreed to pay the plaintiff $51,737.24, plus interest from July 31, 2014 until Dec. 31, 2014, the suit states.
The plaintiff, alleging breach of contract, seeks principal as states, pre-judgment interest of $507.45 per month from August 2014 until the date of judgment, and attorneys' fees and costs.
The plaintiff is represented by Mark G. Schrader in Belleville.
