A mother whose son was injured in a school bus accident last year is suing both drivers involved in the crash.
According to a lawsuit filed on April 27 in St. Clair County Circuit Court, Areesha Wilson, as guardian of Kelby A. Robinson-Wilson brought an action against Lee H. William III and Durham School Services LP.
Wilson alleges her son was in an accident on March 4, 2014, while aboard a school bus at Miami Street and Nebraska Avenue in St. Louis.
According to the complaint, William pulled his vehicle out into the intersection when the bus was crossing, resulting in an accident and causing the minor plaintiff "serious personal injuries."
The plaintiff, alleging counts of recklessness, carelessness and negligence for each defendant, seeks $50,000 in damages, plus costs.
She is represented by David K. Simkins in St. Louis.
