Woman blames drivers for multicar collision

A Madison County motorist is suing two other drivers, alleging vehicular negligence.

Kassidy I. Kraft filed a lawsuit on April 21 in Madison County Circuit Court against Ruby Moski and Sergio Gomez, alleging vehicular negligence in a 2013 accident.

According to the complaint, on April 23, 2013, Kraft and Moski were both driving westbound on Collinsville Road in Madison County when Moski's vehicle came into contact with the plaintiff’s. The suit accuses Moski of breach of care and negligence for failure to keep a proper lookout for other vehicles, particularly the plaintiff’s, apply brakes, operate her vehicle at a reasonable rate of speed for the conditions at the time, reduce her speed to avoid an accident, avoid collision and exercise due care.

The plaintiff accuses Gomez with the same counts of negligence, alleging he collided with Moski’s car at the scene and caused her to impact Kraft’s vehicle a second time.

The plaintiff alleges injuries to her back, neck and chest. She alleges past and future pain, suffering and disability, medical expenses, diminished capacity to enjoy life, lost wages and earning capacity.

Kraft seeks damages in excess of $50,000, plus attorney fees and costs. She is represented by attorney D. Jeffrey Ezra of Ezra & Associates in Collinsville.
