A couple has sued a woman for allegedly rear-ending their car, leading to serious injuries.
Michelle and Steven Williams filed the lawsuit Feb. 16 in Madison County Circuit Court against Judy Hanning, driver of the other car involved in the wreck.
According to the complaint, on Feb. 13, 2014, Hanning was driving in Granite City when she crashed into the back of the Williamses’ vehicle.
Each plaintiff is seeking $50,000 for pain, suffering, disability and lost earnings, as well as attorney fees. The couple is represented by attorney Gregory M. Tobin of East Alton.
