Shifts in management roles made at Williams Venker & Sanders

Founding partner Paul Venker of Williams Venker & Sanders, LLC, was recently invited to serve as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee while simultaneously being elected as the new managing partner.

The firm was established in 2001, and since its inception until 2009, Venker had served as the managing partner.

From 2009 until the beginning of this year, partner Lucy Unger held the title.

As a new member of the Executive Committee, Venker replaces co-founder Steve Sanders and joins partners Steve Wasserman and Bob Bassett, who will continue to complete their three year terms on the committee.

Partner, and committee newcomer, Lisa Larkin will replace former member Unger.

Larkin has been with the firm since it was founded, beginning as an associate and working her way to partner.

In addition to this new position, Larkin will continue to serve on the firm’s Hiring Committee and its Business Development Committee.

Larkin’s primary practice areas include personal injury defense, medical malpractice defense and business litigation. She is also active in appellate litigation.

The Williams Venker & Sanders law firm is located in St. Louis and focuses on defense litigation. It’s practice areas include commercial litigation, employment law, health care law, personal injury, product liability and toxic tort litigation.
