A man has filed suit against Heritage Property, alleging it owes him $150,000.
Young C. Ahn alleges he lent defendants Heritage Property and Sam Shim $150,000 on March 28, 2008. The defendants agreed to repay the loan at 6 percent interest per year, according to the complaint filed Dec. 29, 2014, in St. Clair County Circuit Court. However, they have failed to do so, the suit states.
"No part of the principal balance on the note has been paid and there is now due to the plaintiff from defendant on the promissory note $150,000, plus unpaid interest from the original date of the note," the complaint says.
Ahn seeks the money he alleges he is owed, plus costs, attorney fees and other relief the court deems just.
Attorney Kevin T. Hoerner, of Becker, Hoerner, Thompson and Ysursa in Belleville, will represent Ahn.
St. Clair County Circuit Court case number: 14-L-824.
