A woman alleges a driver who was fiddling with his car radio rear-ended her vehicle.
Rosalyn Mullins-Holmes filed a lawsuit Dec. 17 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Adam T. Sprague.
According to the complaint, Mullins-Holmes was driving her 2004 Toyota Tundra north on Old Collinsville Road in St. Clair on Dec. 21, 2012, when Sprague took his eyes off the road and rear-ended her.
Because of the collision, Mullins-Holmes experienced pain and suffering, endured disfigurement and disability and lost her earning capacity, according to the complaint. She also suffered neck and back injuries, experienced numbness in her hands and incurred medical costs, the suit states.
Mullins-Holmes seeks a judgment of more than $50,000, plus other relief the court deems just.
