Travelers Property Casualty Company of America is suing a construction company for allegedly failing to pay its insurance policy premium.
Travelers Property Casualty Company of America filed a lawsuit May 6 in Madison County Circuit Court against Love Construction and Remodeling Inc., citing breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued the defendant a workers' compensation insurance policy for June 20, 2011, through Sept. 27, 2012. The suit alleges the plaintiff conducted a physical audit on the defendant's business and determined the premium for the insurance policy was $57,803.93. According to the brief, the defendant has not paid the premium despite demands.
The plaintiffs seek judgment of $57,803.93 and court costs. It is represented by attorneys from Blitt and Gaines in Wheeling.
