A driver alleges she suffered injuries after another motorist struck her vehicle.
Tanya M. Hildenbrand filed a lawsuit Nov. 12 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Natalie M. Dunphy.
According to the complaint, Hildenbrand was driving north on North Greenmount Road near Lebanon Avenue in Shiloh on Nov. 18, 2012, when Dunphy, who was driving north on the same road, struck the back of Hildenbrand's vehicle.
Because of the collision, Hildenbrand sustained injuries, incurred medical costs, lost wages and suffered a damaged earning capacity, according to the complaint. Hildenbrand alleges Dunphy caused the collision, saying she negligently was unable to stop in time to avoid impact and rear-ended Hildenbrand's vehicle.
Hildenbrand seeks a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs. Attorney Jason R. Caraway, of Kolker Law Offices in Belleville, will represent her.
