A Madison County man filed suit for for injuries sustained during an auto accident.
Terry Holeman filed suit Nov. 20 in Madison County Circuit Court against Carl Sandercock.
According to the complaint, Sandercock slammed into the back of Hoelman's automobile on state Route 157 in Collinsville Township on Dec. 15, 2012, as Holeman was traveling southbound.
The suit states the wreck was due to Sandercock’s negligence and carelessness as Sandercock was driving his car beyond the speed limit, was not paying attention to what was in front of him and did not give any warning that he was quickly approaching another vehicle, thus causing the collision.
According to the suit, Holeman received injuries to his neck, left shoulder, back and hip and accrued considerable medical expenses.
In addition to ongoing medical expenses, Holeman seeks in excess of $50,00 for his injuries. He is represented by attorney Michael Hickey of Brown & Crouppen in St. Louis.
