U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr. will be the keynote speaker at a noon luncheon on Friday, Dec. 12 during the 43rd annual convention of the Illinois Judges Association (IJA) and Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers, 301 E. North Water St. in Chicago.
The convention will run Dec. 11-13.

The IJA's two highest honors will be presented at the luncheon.
Retired judge Shelia Murphy will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award and retired justice James M. Wexstten will receive the Distinguished Service Award.
A joint IJA/ISBA education program will take place on Friday morning: “Understanding the Science of Memory” from 9-11:45 a.m.
