Motorcycle rider sues over alleged crash in Collinsville

A woman who was a passenger on a motorcycle says she was hurt when a car pulled out of a Collinsville driveway and crashed into the bike.

Kimberly Carr filed a lawsuit against Donna Davis Oct. 2 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.

Carr says she was riding as a passenger on the back of a motorcycle heading east on County Line Road on June 2. According to the complaint, Davis drove out of a driveway in the 7900 block of County Line Road and crashed into the motorcycle. Carr accuses Davis of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and costs of the lawsuit.
