A St. Clair County woman is suing the City of Fairview Heights after she allegedly tripped on a broken sidewalk.
Lisa Davinroy filed the lawsuit Sept. 29 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against the City of Fairview Heights.
Davinroy says she was walking near the corner of Old Collinsville Road and Palmway in September 2013 when she fell on a deteriorating sidewalk and suffered serious injuries. Davinroy accuses the city of negligence for allegedly failing to properly maintain its sidewalks. She asks for more than $50,000 in damages and costs of the lawsuit.
